Girlz Talk Youth is designed to educate, engage, and empower adolescent girls, ages 12 and older. Through leadership, community, and life skills.
How We Do It:
Girlz Talk monthly sessions are held in the form of general group meetings/ discussion, field trips (college tours, Girlz Day Out, etc.), community service projects, and/or special events (annual banquet, sleepovers)
Girlz Talk Topics include, but are not limited to: Bullying, Rumors & Teasing; Popularity, Cliques & Fitting In; Healthy Relationships; Self-esteem & Body Image; The Importance of Education; Goal-Setting & Decision-Making; and Teen Depression
Where and When:
Girlz Talk general monthly meetings are typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00pm-8:00pm and every 4th Saturday from 1:00pm-3:00pm at IMPACT Family Counseling – Southside.
